20.05.03 looking for a place to happen
Where can I find good art classes and/or amateur theatre troupes in Montreal?
20.05.03 weekend report
Friday: 45-minute run. Then some friends come over for chillout and board games. Fun, but feeling stiff and wheezy from the run.
Saturday: Happy Independence day, Norway! Brunch, shopping, walking around the Plateau. Life is good. See Matrix Reloaded in the evening. Life is better.
Sunday: Summer descends upon Montreal. Break out the linen and sandals and hop! I’m a hippie. Picnic with a large tribe of hippie friends. Sunkissed and tired, I return home and play videogames all evening. Start reading The Unbearable Lightness of Being.
Monday: 50-minute run. Yay, no pain! Picnic à deux with books and cribbage. Try to find ways to slow down time. This weekend should never end.
18.05.03 back?
I’m not even sure I’m back from hiatus yet, because I’m not at all convinced I currently have that much to say, but I miss blogging.
What’s happening with me these days? Life is quiet. The only thing I have going on is a 10k race I’m training for. Other than that, not much is going on. I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time, when I would have time to read, rest, enjoy a quiet day at home. As much as I would like to enjoy the quiet, I have trouble doing so. I feel external pressure to get out and do something, otherwise I feel like I’m missing out.
We really are a society of zappers (or maybe it’s just me). Always want to know what’s on the other channel.
Cheers mates, it’s good to be back.
