I am looking for an apartment. At least two bedrooms, 1000$ max, near metro (preferably orange line), anytime between May and August. We have excellent references.

I was looking through some recipe books at a library during lunchtime today, looking for inspiration for dinner. I get into food ruts, and It seems every time I buy a new recipe book, I end up gravitating towards one or two easy-to-make recipes, which I add to my cooking repertoire, and then I never touch the book again.

I decided against buying yet another volume that would undoubtedly end up gathering oil and strange smells on the shelf above my stove. After all, I thought, there are so many recipe websites, I can get it for free. But I have to say I’ve been disappointed on that front too.

So, boys and girls, who’s got a good recipe? What are you making for dinner?

Lots of nasty and momentous changes have been happening at the office lately, and I’ve really been meaning to talk about it here. I’m posting inanities mostly, when there are these big things going on, and that feels ridiculous.

But I’m reluctant. I’ve read horror stories of people losing their jobs for blogging about them. Even when they didn’t name company names, people names, or even their own name. I think that was only in the States, but still.

What do you think? Insights? Comments? Advice?

Does it hurt to get your wisdom’s teeth taken out? How much of a big deal is it, if your teeth aren’t out at all? Do you have to miss work?

In what might be an effort to save money, my company is having me make lots of stopovers on my upcoming trip to Venezuela. Get this: it takes 6h45 flight time to get to Venezuela from here, but my journey will be 18 hours. On the weekend, of course.

Luckily, T happened to buy me a few trivia games for the PC yesterday, but still, can anyone suggest any good books?

Does anyone know if there’s a spray stuff you can put on your car windows so they don’t fog up? Does it work?

Every site that normally recognizes my ID (yahoo mail, blogger, various commenting engines) has forgotten me. I’ve had to enter my ID over again everywhere today.
