Ah yes. And I can tell you it gets exponentially worse the younger they are. The good news is (I assume) that the older they get, it gets exponentially better. It seems like a small thing on the surface, but it’s definitely a huge challenge for a type-A personality. Not that it can’t be done. As the popular wisdom goes, “Lower your expectations. No lower. L-O-W-E-R!”

Poor Comet. My sympathy to you and your parents.

My favorite Comet story is the one about her doggie carrier popping open at the Berri/UQAM Meto station, and her running all over the place with you and a bunch of other people running after her. Crazy dawg!

She will be missed.

My own dog died just before I was accepted at the campus, Prunelle was her name and she was the most beautiful golden retriever. She was 14 years old and she was afflicted with hip cancer. I share your loss and I wish you well MJ…may their soul find peace and shred shoes in heaven !
