Saturday night, some of the hottest geeks in town (namely, Nika, Patrick, Serge and Alex) gathered at my place for some trivia games. There might also have been a little bit of drinking going on.

Although a vehicle had been abandoned at my place, it was only the next morning that I realized exactly how much the revellers had actually revelled. I discovered that the five had worked through three 6-packs of beer, one bottle of port, one of scotch and one of wine. Nika made the shocking revelation that she used to play D&D and did a raindance with Comet. Alex correctly answered a Seinfeld question. We chicks danced and sang the answer to “What Rick James song was sampled in an MC Hammer hit?”

A game of 90s edition Trivial Pursuit, and one of Pop Culture edition were played. I’d tell you who won but that would be bragging. If only Patrick hadn’t missed that 24 question…
UPDATE: How could I forget to mention that Serge correctly answered a question about N’Sync, to his eternal shame!? I’ve also just found out that we at Yulblog have our own resident Génie en Herbe (for real!), so we’ll have to have a rematch.
