Ice ages are a long-term cooling of the earth’s temperature, and occur cyclically at intervals of 40000 to 100000 years. The fact that 10% of the Earth is currently under ice, that 14% more is in permafrost and that there is ice at both poles is not a “normal”, natural condition for this planet; we are currently still in an ice age.

This has been so for tens of thousands of years. You think they’d be quicker about salting the goddamn street by now.
