This weekend I discovered the pleasures of SMS (text messaging on cellphones) when a co-worker contacted me that way. I started contacting people I know who are techno-savvy the same way. Among those was lightspeeddad. “When are you free this week? I’ll visit one night”.

To my mild surprise, I got an SMS reply from him. He said, “Great! But who is this? Call me”.

With mild annoyance that he wouldn’t recognize the number, I replied, “Your child!”.

This morning I received a message from DADCELL, “I have two children. Which one? Call me”.

Being an only child, I did call lightspeeddad. You guessed it, I haven’t been corresponding with him at all. I have his number wrong by one digit. Heh.

So, to DADCELL: I’M AN ONLY CHILD! SORRY WRONG # LOL
