Happy coincidence today: first, there was a big power outage at the office this morning. Several blocks out. Sitting around for an hour or two chatting with coworkers over coffee would have been fine, but it turned out we had something much better to entertain us. See, they’re shooting that Angelina Jolie and Ethan Hawke movie like, right next to our building.

So out we went and for an hour or so, watched an exciting car chase scene being shot. Over and over again, the cars came screaming down the Notre-Dame exit of the Ville-Marie and screeched around the corner, narrowly missing two racing 18-wheelers. Then everything stopped, the 18-wheelers (with the “Labatt” logo taped over) backed up and the cars calmly returned up the exit ramp and got into position, until everything started again. Very cool.

Oh, and Angelina’s stunt double looks nothing like her.
