I’m not dead, thanks for asking.

I’m finishing two games, one for the Game Boy Advance and one for the PlayStation (and PC), which has meant crazy crazy amounts of work. After two months without a work-free weekend, I decided to simply stop and get a life. So last week I hired an assistant, have made and kept social plans for the past eight evenings, and the next four. Did not quite manage not to work on the weekend, but re-emerging onto the social scene feels great, and I’m intent on continuing to enjoy the summer.

Also at work, I’m preparing to go to L.A. next week to pitch an idea for a game. Total long shot, but it would be unbelievable if we got to do it.

In other corners of life, running and exercise have kept me sane, I’m having a good ultimate frisbee season and am flirting with the idea of doing the Montreal half-marathon in September. Did the Standard Life race two weeks ago, which was brutal in the heat.

I’m trying to think of something cheap to do for my much-needed vacation in September. I’ll probably rent a cottage with some friends.
